For painting contractors · English and Spanish

Estimates in minutes.Signed on your customer’s phone.

Cutline turns your measurements into a priced proposal, coat by coat, with your own rates. Your customer signs on their phone, and your crew gets a work order with no prices on it.

Built for painters who run 1 to 15 people.

The problem

It is 10 at night and the estimate is not done. Again.

  • Measurements on a napkin and prices in your head.
  • A spreadsheet that breaks every time you add a room.
  • Customers who wait days for a number and hire someone else.
  • Proposals that look homemade next to the big companies.
  • Your crew seeing what you charge.

Every hour on paperwork is an hour you are not painting or selling.

Solo painters

Look as professional as the big companies from your very first estimate.

Small crews

The solution

Three things that change from day one.

01

Priced coat by coat, with your rates.

Add the rooms and the surfaces. Cutline works out the hours, the gallons and the price from your own production rates, and every number shows its math.

  • Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and more
  • Hours and gallons per coat
  • Your hourly rate and your paint prices

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a computer?

No. Cutline is made to be used on your phone at the job site. It also works on a laptop or tablet.

Can I use my own prices?

Yes. You set your hourly rate, your production rates and your paint prices. The math uses your numbers, not ours.

Does it work in Spanish?

Yes. Each customer gets the proposal in English or Spanish, and this page and the sign up work in both.

Will my crew see what I charge?

No. The work order shows rooms, colors, coats and notes. It never shows dollar amounts.

Is my information private?

Each company has its own private workspace. Your customers and your prices are never shared with anyone.

How much does it cost?

We are opening with a small group of painters first. Create your account and we will talk with you about pricing before anything is charged.
